A message from Tim Lopes - Head Coach Pembroke Girls Varsity Basketball

Dear Players and Parents:

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd annual Pembroke Girls Basketball Camp will be held from Monday, August 9 through Thursday August 12 in the Pembroke High School Gymnasium.   The camp will start at 9 am and run until 2 pm. and is for girls entering the 3rd through the 8th grade.

Players should bring:

Plenty of water

Lunch and snacks

A basketball

A positive attitude and a desire to improve

We will have a lot of fun and work hard on the following elements of the game:

The joy of basketball

Passing

Ball Handling

Shooting

The "move of the day"

Additionally, there will be high school and college basketball players that will be camp counselors who will share insights into what it is like to play at that level.

The cost for the camp is $180.  The proceeds of the camp will go toward the Pembroke Girls Basketball Program.
